The IP Office 500 Digital Station 16B provides 16 additional digital station ports for your Avaya IP Office system.  For IP Office 9.0 or higher, the digital station ports can be used as DS or TCM ports.

 

Avaya IP Office 500 Digital Station 16B Features

• Provides an additional 16 digital station ports for digital telephones
• Module can support either DS ports or TCM ports, but not both simultaneously

Compatibility

• IP Office 9.0 or higher – Both DS ports and TCM ports are supported but not simultaneously
• DS ports support Avaya 1400, 3800, and 9500 series telephones
• TCM ports support Avaya/Nortel M7000 and T7000 series telephones

 

 

 

To find the release of your processor you will need to log into your IP Office Processor using Manager and go to “Control Unit” and click on the processor and look at the version and let me know what version that is.

 

POWER UP THE EXPANSION MODULES BEFORE POWERING UP THE PROCESSOR!!

 

For Expansion modules to be recognized and seen by the Processor power must be provided first to them and be connected with the Shielded Cat 5 cable to an available Expansion Port on the Processor you are connecting it to and have a green light.  After the Green light is on the Expansion Module – Then power up the Processor if power is lost during the upgrade the expansion module will be red lighted and need to be repaired – DON”T LOSE POWER DURING AN UPGRADE!!!.
