Avaya IP Office 500 V2 Control Unit (700476005) that is tested up to 9.1 without an upgrade license – Free shipping on all orders
You are buying 1 Used Avaya IP Office 500 V2 Processor/Control Unit that is fully tested to power on and is able to work or to be upgraded to release level 9.1 in IP Office Standard Mode without an upgrade license. The number of base card slot covers will be 2 and it will come with a power cord and a 30 day warranty.
For the Control Unit to work at release 9.1 in IP Office Standard Mode an Essential Edition key code will be needed, otherwise you will have to operate in other modes of operation such as in basic mode.
I am offering this Processor for sale as a solution to Avaya no longer offering the 9.1 upgrade key codes. So if you have an IP Office Processor with an SD Card with an Essential Edition key code (not a virtual Essential Edition key code as those usually disappear and are not reliable) and you want to upgrade it to as high as release 9.1 but do not have the rights or the upgrade key code you can buy this processor and use your SD card that has the Essential Edition key code in this Processor to go up to or upgrade the release version up to as high as the 9.1 release.
Other things to keep in mind…
Initial boot software limitation of the IP Office 500 V2 Processor:
The IPO 500 V2 processors/cabinets/chassis/control units have a memory. The first time they are powered up or on the initial boot where calls are made the release version of the SD card sets the release rights and release level limitation of the IP Office 500 V2 chassis/processor.
So if the processor was originally powered up and made calls and the release of the SD card was 6.0 the initial boot software limitation of the IP Office 500 Processor will be set to 6.0 and to go to 6.1 or higher an upgrade key code is needed/required to clear the license error message.
So just because you have an SD card with the Essential Edition key code, which is required for basic functionality in IP Office Standard Mode for IP Office release 8.0 – 9.1, you may also need an upgrade key code or if you want to go to a higher release version than your processor will allow you may need to swap out your Avaya IP Office processor with one that is able to be be upgraded without an upgrade key code or in other words the release limitation of the initial boot is set to a higher release version that you want. Since Avaya is no longer providing ADI encrypted key codes for IP Office Dongles the solution is to swap out your IP Office Processor with one that is able to be at the your desired release without using an upgrade license/encrypted key code.
Items are used tested working with a 30 day warranty.
After purchase I will e-mail over the installation tool and product and installation documents.
Some part numbers in this listing are: 700476005

Phone System Wiring:
You will need to connect the phone lines into the phone system from your phone company’s phone line box with an individual wire for each phone line (single pair/2 Conductor should be fine – 2 pieces of copper on the phone jack).
You will then need each phone to also have an individual home run wire run from an available IP Office digital station port to the desired location of each phone using a minimum of a 2 Pair/4 Conductor wire (meaning when you look at the phone jack you should see 4 pieces of copper).
